Online Donations

With your help … no person will be denied the benefits of a YMCA membership or activity based on financial limitations.

Strong Kids Campaign

Campaign dollars provide direct financial assistance so that every kid can be a Y kid! Your donation provides opportunities for children, teens, and families to participate in high-quality, character-building programs regardless of their ability to pay. In recent years, the YMCA has seen a tremendous increase in requests for financial assistance from families in need so their children can participate in YMCA programs. Over $500,000 of assistance was provided by the YMCA last year in membership and program scholarships, right here in York County.

Matching Funds

Many companies match the gifts of their employees, employee spouses, or retired employees.  Please contact your personnel department to find out about your company's program-you could double your money or more!

Volunteers

The Strong Kids Campaign is a volunteer-driven campaign and needs individuals willing to help solicit funds. Please consider joining the Strong Kids Campaign as a volunteer and make a child or a family's dream come true.

Strong Kids Banner Program

As a way to encourage participation in our Strong Kids campaign at the $3,000 level or higher, we have established a special program of thanks for our most generous donors.  Sponsor banners will be displayed at the YMCA branch of your choice: York, Dover, Eastern, or Southern locations.
With over 8800 YMCA members, we believe that this program provides a very visible and public way for businesses and individuals to demonstrate their community support and involvement while giving us the chance to acknowledge their investment in our organization. Banners are displayed for 12 months in visible, high traffic areas, such as the pools, lobby and the Fitness Centers.
If you would like to learn more about the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, are interested in making a gift or becoming a volunteer, or would like to hear more about the banner program, please contact Sharon Ilgenfritz in the Development Department at 717.812.0119 ext. 308.

Please support the Strong Kids Campaign and, together, we will build Strong Kids, Strong Families, and Strong Communities.
