The YMCA of York County offers a variety of group fitness classes for all ages and skill levels. From low-impact exercise and chair-based classes, to high energy indoor cycle or BODYPUMP, you will find a class that is fun, supportive and keeps you moving.
Group fitness classes are available at no cost to Y members. Guests of the Y can participate by either paying the monthly class program fee or by using a Group Exercise Punch Card.

50+ Quite Nifty

Increase cardiovascular and muscular strength through step aerobics and toning exercises. Participants may complete the cardio exercises without the step bench.

Ages 11 - 18

Build strength and endurance and develop balance and flexibility in this 1 hour Les Mills class combo!  Participants will learn proper strength training techniques while exercising to motivating popular music during the first half of the class.  Following the barbell portion of the class, students will flow through yoga, tai chi and Pilates postures designed to increase balance, range of motion and core strength.  Exercise modifications will be demonstrated to ensure that all students have success in this great combination program.

Prepare to run the Hanover YMCA Half Marathon by training with York YMCA running coaches.  A mileage schedule is provided to each participant.  Group runs that increase in mileage take place every other Saturday. This program is offered annually every fall. Registration opens on September 1.
