Camp Spirit

Ages 5 - 16

Camp Spirit is located on 14 acres of outdoor space. Campers participate in a wide variety of programming that includes swimming, archery, indoor gaga pit, amphitheater and an arts & crafts center. Campers enjoy the summer with sports, games, a rock climbing wall, lodges and more. Many activities are related to theme days. Each Friday, campers travel to a local park & to the Graham Aquatic Center for outdoor activities!

Registration Fee: $30/Child $50/Family

Weekly Fee: $126 (Family Memberships) $152 (Youth Membership/ Non-Members)

Daily Fee: $30/Child (Members) $35/Child (Youth Membership/ Non-Members)

Camp Spirit offers transportation between the York, Bob Hoffman Branch (Dover), the Eastern YMCA at Ohana Wellness Center and Camp Spirit. Please contact branch for details.

Camp Spirit runs June through August.

Leaders in Training – Camp Spirit

The Leaders In Training program is for children ages 14-16 years old. The LITs will embark on their leadership journey with the campers and staff of Camp Spirit. Each LIT will have a chance to lead in each program area with the 5-9 age groups. LITs will never be left alone with campers and will not be responsible for them, but they will be asked and expected to lead by example.

Registration Fee: $30/Child  $50/Family

Muscle Pump

Increase muscular strength and endurance during this 60-minute class. All major muscle groups are strengthened by using aerobic weight sets and dumbbells.

SilverSneakers® Circuit

Combine fun & fitness to increase your cardiovascular & muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Handheld weights, elastic tubing, and a ball are alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography.

Spring Co-Ed T-Ball League

Ages 4 - 8

For beginners and experienced players. Participants will learn and enhance their baseball/softball skills including throwing, fielding, hitting and more through instruction, practices and games. Youth who are ready to advance past hitting off the tee, will gain “soft-pitch” from the staff and coaches.

Wellness Center Orientation

Meet with a trained staff member to learn proper form and usage of YMCA equipment. New members receive two free orientation appointments to learn how to use cardio and strength equipment.

Strengthen and reenergize with yoga by challenging your muscular strength, flexibility, balance and mental stamina.

Yoga Gentle Flow

Increase balance, coordination and flexibility through breath-synchronized movement. A slow-paced flow class that begins with standing postures, flows into balance poses and includes many floor postures. This is the perfect class to stretch sore muscles, increase range of motion and de-stress! All skill levels welcomed.
